WP3 partners meeting in EYDAP’s premises

In the context of WP3, particularly for identifying risk-based use cases to validate the TESTUDO solution, teams from PROSEGUR and SATWAYS conducted site visits to EYDAP‘s facilities, including the Marathon Dam and Aspropyrgos Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP). These visits enable TESTUDO to perform detailed risk assessments for the chosen infrastructure and gather firsthand insights to validate critical facilities, processes, and legacy systems.

With the valuable assistance of EYDAP’s personnel, on January 31st, PROSEGUR and SATWAYS inspected assets at the Marathon Dam, such as the stem, roads, mechanical equipment, and security measures. Additionally, they engaged in discussions with key personnel to understand operational processes and protocols.

On February 1st, the teams visited the Aspropyrgos DWTP, a vital component of EYDAP’s infrastructure, focusing on drinking water treatment and security processes and equipment. Through semi-structured interviews, accurate and current information was gathered, contributing to the risk assessment report and use case scenario definition.

These activities form an integral part of WP3 deliverables and provide essential background knowledge for technical partners in tailoring the TESTUDO solution to meet the needs of critical infrastructure operators.

TESTUDO KoM

On 10th-11th October 2023 the beautiful city of Thessaloniki held the project’s Kick-off meeting, hosted by the project coordinator CERTH. It was an occasion to meet each partner in person and set the starting point for the project. The consortium composed of 20 partners met for the first time to discuss in detail the scope of work in the project, the division of tasks between individual partners and the plan of their implementation for the next months. The KOM was attended by the Project Officer Ms. Doris Neumann from the Research Executive Agency and the representative of DG HOME Mr. Felix Combreau.
